Earlier this year, one of the largest Steampunk events in the UK, and quite possibly the world, took place in Lincoln. Called 'Welcome to the Asylum' it has been going on for a few years now, and yet I had never come across it until now. An amazing event, so many interesting, creative and extraordinary costume.... it was a brilliant experience, and one I am hoping to join in next year with an outfit of my own!
